Daniel J. Foos

Managing Member

Daniel J. Foos founded the practice in March 2004. He is a graduate of the United States Merchant Marine Academy and holds a Masters Degree in Project Management from The George Washington University. He has been working in ship survivability and live fire test and evaluation since 1995, providing support to multiple naval shipbuilding programs and international customers.

R. Gregg Fresa

Member

R. Gregg Fresa is the co-founder and a Member. He graduated from Pennsylvania State University with a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering. He has extensive experience in system survivability and combat system integration, with prior experience managing technical efforts for Lockheed Martin for the first DDG 51 Class Total Ship Survivability Trial and the Automated Common Diagram programs.

Derek Skahen

Member

Derek Skahen is a graduate of the United States Merchant Marine Academy and holds a Masters Degree in Ocean Engineering from the Virginia Polytechnic Institute. He has experience in systems engineering, ship survivability, test and evaluation, and program management supporting naval surface combatants and submarines. He supports the LPD 17 Ship Design Manager as the System Engineering Manager for Auxiliaries, Mission and Damage Control.
