Professional metallurgical engineer licensed in the state of Idaho with more than 30 years of professional experience in welding metallurgy, corrosion, mechanical behavior of materials, and electrochemical engineering. He has published more than 140 papers in peer reviewed journals and conference proceedings with an h-index of 28. He has supervised 10 Ph.D. and 20 M.S. students to graduation and garnered more than $12 million in research funding as PI or co-PI.
