Rifat Saleh, PE founded RHS Consulting Design, LLC in 2003. He is a licensed professional engineer in Connecticut, New York, and Florida with engineering experience since 1984. Mr. Saleh has managed and served as Chief Structural Engineer on bridge and structure design projects for ConnDOT, MHD, RIDOT, NYDOT, Mass Turnpike, and municipal clients. He serves as a professor of structural engineering at the University of Hartford and as a Structural Engineer Specialist with Urban Search and Rescue of Connecticut TF-1 under the Homeland Security Task Force. His experience covers highway and railroad bridge design, building design, bridge inspection and condition evaluation, load rating analysis, rehabilitation, seismic screening, and PONTIS data entry across steel, cast-in-place concrete, prestressed concrete, post-tension concrete, multi-girder, girder-floorbeam-stringer, steel box girder, rigid frame, concrete spandrel arch, and steel truss structures.
