RAM Laboratories conducts innovative research, technology development, and prototyping for critical defense and national security missions. Founded in 1997 by Dr. Richard MacDonald and Dr. Robert McGraw, both Electrical Engineering doctoral graduates from the University of Virginia, the practice began with avionics modeling and simulation work for the Air Force before expanding into advanced analytics, cyber security, and mobile communications. RAM Laboratories serves the Department of Defense and Department of Homeland Security as a prime contractor on SEAPORT NxG and is an active member of several defense consortia including the Information Warfare Research Project, National Spectrum, Naval Surface Technology and Innovation, and Systems of Systems. Its team of engineers and scientists also partners with research universities, Fortune 500 companies, and defense industry primes on SBIR and BAA programs.
