Vertiv: Dual-Tenancy Speculative Building Electrical Up-Fit

Vertiv | Commercial

Retrofitted an existing speculative building by installing a second electrical service and designing a dedicated power distribution system to split the space for two tenants. Segregated all lighting circuits, high-voltage production outlets, office receptacles, motorized dock doors, and HVAC power systems to establish a fully compliant, metered layout enabling separate tenant billing.

Bert joined PEC in 2010 after earning a B.S. in Civil Engineering from Clemson University. He quickly advanced to Project Engineer, leading outside-plant design, construction oversight, and contract administration. After founding and operating a civil engineering practice in 2015, he returned to PEC in 2022 to drive business development and service diversification, ultimately becoming Chief Executive Officer.

Jeff Little

Jeff began his telecommunications career in 1995, building extensive experience in network design and fiber-to-the-home initiatives. A U.S. Air Force veteran, he has served in advisory roles with the National Tribal Telecommunications Association and the National Telecommunications Cooperative Association before becoming PEC's Chief Operating Officer and Chief Financial Officer.

Chris has over 35 years of telecommunications engineering expertise. He holds Professional Engineer licenses in 14 states and is a past President of the Association of Communications Engineers. He specializes in central office technology, equipment specifications, and audits of electrical power systems.

Howard brings more than 17 years of experience in telecommunications design and consulting. Licensed as a Professional Engineer in 17 states, he directs GIS, CAD, IT systems, and technical operations, overseeing feasibility studies, project planning, and equipment contracts.

Scott joined PEC in 2013 following more than 20 years of management in industrial manufacturing. As President of the Eastern Division, he oversees OSP operations, FTTH projects, and construction management across South Carolina, Georgia, Alabama, and Tennessee.

President, Western Division

David has more than 22 years of experience in telecommunications, specializing in outside plant design, contract management, and project coordination. He leads operations for the Western Division, focusing on fiber deployment and resilient network infrastructure.
