MPE provided geotechnical engineering services, earthwork observation, and materials testing during construction.

Red Bluff Diversion Dam Fish Passage

Construction of a positive barrier fish screen and a pumping plant to resolve fish passage issues and provide long-term water conveyance reliability for agricultural irrigation. Recognized as one of the nation's largest Department of the Interior economic stimulus projects, MPE provided geotechnical engineering consulting and earthwork and materials testing services to general contractors and sub-contractors.

Todd Kamisky

President & CEO

Todd Kamisky has been working in the geotechnical engineering field since 1994. He has been a project and senior engineer on over 500 geotechnical engineering investigations throughout Northern California, with projects ranging from residential communities to bridges. He has been involved with all phases of geotechnical investigations and has performed and managed earthwork testing and observation for a wide variety of projects. Todd has a Master of Science in Civil Engineering from the University of California, Davis and a Bachelor of Science from California State University, Chico. He is a registered Geotechnical Engineer in California and is registered in both California and Nevada as a Civil Engineer. Todd is a member of the American Society of Civil Engineers and the Structural Engineers Association of Central California.

Troy Kamisky has been employed in the field of geotechnical engineering since 2001. His vast project experience includes master planned communities, residential subdivisions, infrastructure improvements, detention basins, bridges, communication towers, schools, and commercial / industrial developments. Troy obtained his Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering from California State University, Chico and is a registered Civil Engineer in both California and Nevada.

Dan Smith has been employed in the geotechnical engineering field since 1988. His project experience includes geotechnical and geologic studies for commercial and industrial projects, residential subdivisions, high-rise and mid-rise structures, schools, prison and correctional facilities, pavement design and rehabilitation, water treatment and distribution systems, buried pipeline, and drainage projects. Dan received his Bachelor of Science degree in Geological Engineering from the University of Nevada, Reno. He is registered in the State of California as a Civil Engineer and Geotechnical Engineer. He is a member of the American Society of Civil Engineers, the Structural Engineers Association of Central California, and Placer Architects, Geologists, Engineers and Surveyors.

Jeff Budelli

Vice President of Earthwork & materials

Jeff Budelli has worked in the construction industry since 1978, with more than 24 years directly involved in the Geotechnical, Earthwork and Materials Testing business. He has been strategically involved in the growth and development of Earthwork and Materials departments, growing departments from only four technicians to more than 100. Jeff has been involved in all phases of construction testing on projects including public works projects, major infrastructure, residential subdivisions, commercial projects, school projects, high rise buildings, roadway reconstruction and levees.

Ken Fritz

Vice President of Construction Services

Ken Fritz has been employed in the field of geotechnical engineering and project management since 1990. He has been involved in all phases of earthwork construction including residential lots, underground utilities, street improvements, dam construction, commercial sites and school construction. Additionally, he has managed construction of sewer and water plant renovations as well as new public works facilities. Ken's extensive construction experience has enabled him to prepare detailed proposals for materials testing and special inspections.
