Serving as President, Darin A. Lockwood has over 30 years of experience in the civil engineering and construction industries. He founded Meridian Consulting Engineers in 1999 to support commercial and residential development in the southern Delmarva peninsula. His expertise spans zoning, development rights, permitting, and construction management. He has overseen the development, design, and construction of over 25,000 dwelling units and millions of square feet of commercial space, and has established working relationships with entities such as the Florida Department of Transportation, the Greater Orlando Airport Authority, and central Florida school districts. He holds a B.S. in Civil Engineering from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University, is a registered Professional Engineer in multiple states, and has maintained an NCEES record for over 20 years. He is also a licensed pilot.
