Distribution Line Design
Engineering and design of 15 kV to 35 kV overhead and underground distribution infrastructure, including voltage conversions, reconductoring, field staking, drawing development, and cost estimates.
Transmission Line Design
Design and inspection of transmission upgrades, including PLS-CADD modeling, line clearance analysis, thermal rating analysis, and NERC compliance analysis.
Substation Design
Substation design including feasibility studies, load projections, relay and control design, arc flash studies, and system protection studies.

Founded McCord Engineering in 1985 after 15 years as a consulting engineer and VP at Electric Power Engineers, Inc. Graduate of Texas A&M University (1970).
