Mark Burns has over 24 years of experience in structural engineering. Since 2009, he has applied his expertise to construction defect claims, structural and building component damage, fire and explosion investigations, and civil and structural engineering issues, including damage assessment, cause and origin analysis, and litigation support. His background includes residential and commercial structural design and construction management. He has qualified as a civil and structural engineering expert, testifying in State and US district courts in Colorado and Wyoming. He is a licensed Professional Engineer in Colorado, Wyoming, Utah, Idaho, Montana, New Mexico, Nebraska, Kansas, Michigan, and Wisconsin, and has been a Certified Fire and Explosion Investigator (CFEI) since 2012.
