Michael Martel, P.E. founded Martel Engineering in 2009 after decades of experience in construction and structural engineering. He graduated from Merrimack College in 1994 with a structural engineering degree and began his career in the geotechnical civil engineering sector. His experience includes work on the Central Artery portion of the Big Dig in Boston, the Port of Miami Tunnel Project, and international structural support projects. He developed a specialty in contractor support and support of excavation (SOE) and built strong working relationships with contractors across the New England region.
