Maine Coast Surveying & Flood Consultants is a professional land surveying and floodplain services firm serving Maine from Portland. Originally founded in 1979 and acquired in 2016 by Jim Nadeau of Nadeau Land Surveys, it provides a diversified range of land surveying, GPS and GIS mapping, floodplain management, underground utility location, and continuing education services. Three licensed State of Maine Professional Land Surveyors carry out boundary surveys, ALTA surveys, topographic surveys, elevation certificates, FEMA map amendments, and related real estate support work across Maine.

Jim Nadeau is a U.S. Air Force veteran who became a State of Maine Professional Land Surveyor in 1993. He co-founded Nadeau & Lodge, became sole owner of the Portland office in 2005 as Nadeau Land Surveys, and acquired Maine Coast Surveying in 2016. He holds three NFIP designations (CFM, CFS, ANFI), served on FEMA's Technical Mapping Advisory Council, chairs the State of Maine Board of Licensure for Professional Land Surveyors, and received the Francis Crowe Society Distinguished Engineer Award from the University of Maine in 2018.

Tom Blake holds a B.S. in Forest Engineering from the University of Maine and has over 30 years of surveying experience. He serves as Curator for the New Gloucester, Maine Historical Society and is the author of Images of America - New Gloucester (Arcadia Publishing, 2009). Tom is an active member and Historical Committee Chair of the Maine Society of Land Surveyors.

Mark Carpenter has worked in the surveying profession since 2002. He graduated from the University of Maine's Forestry program and completed surveying coursework at Central Maine Community College. He is an active member and current Chapter Secretary of the Narragansett Chapter of the Maine Society of Land Surveyors, and serves as FEMA Liaison and a member of the National Society of Professional Surveyors.
