Bob Lewis is a native of western North Carolina and graduated summa cum laude with a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from North Carolina State University. With nearly 22 years of structural engineering experience, he previously served as project engineer at Sutton-Kennerly & Associates (now SKA Engineering), Medlock & Associates Engineering, and Medallion Pool Company, all in Asheville, North Carolina. He has been a member of the Structural Engineers Association of North Carolina since 2015, serving as State Vice President in 2016 and State President in 2017.
