Alex Bruno of Leake Engineering LLC came out to my rowhouse in South Philly in late October for a structural assessment, given a few concerns that I had. Alex was both extremely thorough in his assessment and reassuring, helping me devise a plan of action to address these concerns.
Alex with Leake engineering was incredible to work with. He answered the phone immediately, was always available for me when I had questions, and was extremely knowledgeable and thorough. He goes above and beyond expectations and does a great job of keeping the client informed and calm as structural issues can be a very scary thing!
It was a great experience working with Leake Engineering. Alex emailed and returned my call immediately. He scheduled an appointment and was able to come out within a couple of days. After inspecting our home, he answered questions regarding a wall that needs to be removed for a remodel and provided excellent advice. Alex emailed a report we needed to pass on to the contractor. He is very professional, thorough and prompt. I highly recommend Leake Engineering ~ Great service!
We had Alex come out twice already for our home. Both times, he was extremely thorough during the assessment and took his time to explain to us what the issue is and what his recommendations would be. We will continue to use Leake Engineering for future structural issues/assessments.
As of May 2020, Leake Engineering was great to work with from start to finish. I had had concerns about the foundation in my home and wanted someone to come out and take a look. It was a smooth process to get scheduled; Alex was originally set to come out late morning but was evidently running ahead of schedule, and called to ask if he could come slightly earlier. When he arrived he was professional, friendly, and straightforward. He listened to all of my concerns and was able to talk about them in a way that I (someone without any background in engineering, construction, etc.) could understand. I would highly recommend Leake Engineering and would not hesitate to use them again.
