Mechanical Engineering
Full-range mechanical engineering services for buildings including heating, ventilation, air conditioning, load calculations, air conditioning unit selections, air distribution ductwork design, and central plant design for chilled water, condenser water, hot water, and steam systems. Testing division provides review and analysis of existing system performance.
Electrical Engineering
Electrical design services including incoming service sizing calculations, electrical distribution, lighting and utility specifications, emergency back-up systems, and UPS system design. Testing division delivers load analysis reports and equipment witness/acceptance testing.
Plumbing Engineering

Services include energy modeling, building efficiency optimization, LEED/energy code compliance consulting, decarbonization road mapping, NYC Local Law 97 compliance pathway analysis, all-electric heating/cooling/domestic water design, and renewable energy system feasibility studies.

Armen Khachaturian founded KEA Engineers in 1984, bringing 15 years of prior engineering experience to KEA. He built KEA's client base through relationships with pharmaceutical companies and national retail chains, establishing KEA as a leader in MEP engineering across the Northeast.

Director of Engineering
Adam Khachaturian joined KEA Engineers in 2005 after seven years at JB&B. As Director of Engineering, Adam continues KEA's tradition as a family-owned business with a client-first culture.
