Innovative Design Engineering Associates, Architectural Engineering Consultants LLC (IDEA) is a technology-oriented interdisciplinary MEP-FP engineering practice founded in 2021 with offices in Monroe, Connecticut and Miami, Florida. IDEA provides mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and fire protection engineering across a range of building types including educational, mixed-use, commercial, high-end residential, institutional, industrial, transportation, and cultural facilities. Its notable projects include MEP-FP design for the MSC Miami Cruise Terminal at PortMiami, slated to be the largest cruise terminal in the Americas.
