Camden CSO Regulator Rehabilitation Project

Daily onsite inspection and reporting for a $5.1 million program rehabilitating CSO regulator assemblies, tide gates, and chambers at 28 locations throughout Camden. GECG delivered daily progress reports to the contract operator (AWO&M, LLC) and the City of Camden as asset owner throughout the replacement and rehabilitation work.

Frenchman's View Condo Rehabilitation

St. Thomas, USVI | Frenchman's View Condominium Association | Residential

Construction management for restoration of damaged Owner's units and common elements at Frenchman's View Condominium Association following hurricane Irma. Scope included roof repair, window replacement, and porch replacement. The 14-month project was completed in time for reoccupancy before the start of the next hurricane season.

North Richards Road Reconstruction

Somerville, NJ | Borough of Somerville | Highways & Roads

Reconstruction of a 1,000-foot residential access roadway on North Richards Avenue from Putnam Street to Adams Street, including storm drain upgrades, cross-section improvements, ADA-compliant ramp installation, and full-depth asphalt replacement of a 40-year-old pavement. Jointly funded by NJDOT and the Borough of Somerville.

Six-level precast concrete parking structure with 650 spaces for the Newark Parking Authority, combined with 25,000 sq ft of office space for the City of Newark Municipal Court System and the Newark Parking Authority headquarters, plus 2,500 sq ft of ground-level retail at 31 Green St.

715 Park Avenue, East Orange, NJ | Multifamily Residential

Adaptive reuse of the East Orange Board of Education headquarters into 70 residential apartments with 49 underground parking spaces and 59 surface spaces. Project required a density variance, Essex County Planning Board approval, and Passaic Valley Sewerage Authority permitting.

Retaining Wall Assessment and Replacement

Structural assessment and repair recommendations for two deficient retaining walls at East Orange Campus High School. GECG prepared construction cost estimates for reinforced CMU and segmental retaining wall replacement options, and recommended a design-build delivery method to complete the work before the start of the school year.
