Edmund Glowacki holds a Bachelor of Science in Engineering (Naval Architecture and Marine Engineering) from the University of Michigan and is a registered professional engineer in Florida. He founded Glowacki Engineering in 1995 after roles with CDI Marine Company, Huckins Yacht Corporation, and Bold Craft Engineering Corporation. His technical experience spans hull design, performance prediction, stability analysis, structural design, piping and fluid systems, tonnage calculations, and project management. He is a past chairman of the Southeast Section of SNAME.

At Glowacki Engineering, he designs and supervises fabrication of steel, aluminum, wood, FRP, and HDPE components for the maritime industry, specializing in linear and non-linear finite element analysis.
