Founder & CEO

Anthony Owens is the Founder and CEO of Gideon Defense. His leadership reflects a career shaped by service, discipline, and innovation in both military and corporate environments. He began his career as an enlisted infantry Marine and later commissioned as an officer. He now serves as a Capability Development Officer with the Office of Naval Research, supporting the Marine Corps mission. Prior to founding Gideon Defense, he held leadership roles in engineering, logistics, manufacturing, and program management. He holds an MBA from the University of Michigan, a bachelor's degree in Business Administration from the University of Maryland, and an associate degree in Engineering from the College of Southern Maryland.
