Jon serves as Principal Advisor, with over 42 years of civil engineering experience. He has held key roles as design engineer, project manager, and Principal-in-Charge for a wide range of planning, programming, and design projects involving water and wastewater systems, site development, subdivisions, and highway infrastructure.

Royce S. Fukunaga

Principal Advisor

Royce is the founder and current Principal Advisor of the practice, bringing over 55 years of civil engineering experience. He holds both a B.S. and M.S. in Civil Engineering with a focus on Hydraulics and Hydrology from Stanford University.

Clifton J. Miyasaki

Vice President

Clifton holds a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering and a Master's degree in Environmental Engineering from the University of Hawaii. He has extensive experience in stormwater, wastewater, and roadway infrastructure projects.

Andrew L. Amuro

Project Manager

Andrew brings extensive experience in civil and environmental engineering, with a strong focus on wastewater treatment and collection systems, preliminary engineering reports, treatment system planning, and construction submittal reviews.

Wei Chen

Wei is a Senior Engineer with specialized expertise in hydraulics, sewer system modeling, and GIS applications. He has contributed significantly to the planning and design of water and wastewater system projects across Hawaii.

Wynn R. Miyamoto

Project Engineer

Wynn has over 20 years of civil engineering experience focused on the design of water and wastewater collection and treatment systems. His work includes developing engineering reports, technical memoranda, and detailed construction packages.

Lance B. Fukumoto

Project Engineer

Lance has over 20 years of experience in the planning, design, and construction of public infrastructure projects across Hawaii and Toronto, Canada, spanning water supply, wastewater networks, roadway improvements, and site development.

Amanda Waki

Project Engineer

Amanda has been involved in wastewater, recycled water, water planning, and general civil engineering projects, including force main condition assessments and expansion design.

Amanda K. Miyahara

Amanda earned both her Bachelor's and Master's degrees in Civil Engineering from Santa Clara University. She supports wastewater, water, recycled water, and general civil engineering projects.

Kacy K. Aoki

Kacy holds a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering and a Bachelor of Arts in Modern Language from Northern Arizona University. She contributes to water, wastewater, and site development projects, including stadium and park improvements.

Joey is a graduate of the Milwaukee School of Engineering. He has been involved in various water and wastewater projects, including sewer and water assessments and stream erosion control projects.

Kathy holds a Master of Science in Civil Engineering from the University of Hawaii at Manoa, specializing in civil design, sewer system modeling, GIS applications, and transportation engineering.

Eleu Choy

Eleu joined the practice full-time after interning during the summers of 2022 and 2023. He assists with site inspections, engineering calculations, and plan preparation across civil infrastructure projects.
