95th Street Shellbank Basin Infrastructure Improvements

This infrastructure improvement project in the Old Howard Beach neighborhood of Queens involved the installation of new stormwater collection sewers to alleviate local flooding. The scope of work included constructing a 60-inch by 38-inch outfall at Shellbank Basin, installing a tide gate and a splash pad, relining sanitary sewers, replacing water mains, restoring affected streets, and executing a tidal wetland restoration plan.
