Northline Seafoods Fish Freezer Tender HANNAH

Bristol Bay, AK | Northline Seafoods | Marine

Crucible converted a 400 by 100 foot deck barge into a fish freezer tender capable of freezing and storing up to 15 million pounds of frozen salmon from Bristol Bay, AK. Scope included system design and USCG submittal documents under 46 CFR Subchapter I, six crane foundations developed using Finite Element Analysis, onsite support for pipe system installation, and the fire and safety plan, electrical one-line drawing, and other deliverables required to obtain a Certificate of Inspection.

USACE Dredge Yaquina Drydocking and 5-Year Overhaul

Everett Ship Repair | Government

Crucible managed the drydocking and five-year overhaul of the US Army Corps of Engineers dredge Yaquina on behalf of Everett Ship Repair. Work included hull repairs, dredge engine and deck gear overhauls, ABS inspections, bow thruster replacement, coordination of dockside services including steam heat, wastewater, and fresh water hookups, and an inclining experiment and sea trials prior to redelivery.

Owner and Principal Engineer

Josh is the owner and principal engineer of Crucible Engineering LLC. He is a Professional Engineer licensed by Washington State in marine engineering and naval architecture. He previously spent six years at Kvichak Marine Industries as lead engineer on nearly a dozen high-speed aluminum vessels and managed the DB AVALON capital dredging project at Curtin Maritime.

Colton is a licensed naval architect based in Tacoma, WA. He began his career as a field engineer on new wharf construction at the Port of Long Beach with Manson Construction Co. while earning a Bachelor of Science in Ocean Engineering at Texas A&M University.

Lukas Bridgeman

Lukas is a naval architect from Southern California. He graduated from SUNY Maritime College with a Bachelor of Engineering in Naval Architecture, with a senior project focused on developing a fuel-efficient 100-meter catamaran Ro-Pax ferry. He previously interned with Crowley Engineering Services.

Scott brings over 25 years of hands-on maritime and shipyard operations experience to Crucible. He oversees construction activities, site coordination, and safety compliance across projects, with a focus on quality and efficient execution.

David sources equipment and materials, manages vendor relationships, and handles logistics to support project execution at Crucible. He has extensive experience in the marine industry, previously serving as Purchasing Director.

Justin joined Crucible in 2024. His project work includes installing industrial PVC piping systems with pumps, valves, instrumentation, piping, and supports.

Craig Mork

Senior Marine Designer

Craig brings wide-ranging design experience across many vessel types. He is highly skilled in AutoCAD and Rhinoceros 3D, and began his career as a mechanical draftsman at Propulsion Systems, Inc.

Shipyard Project Manager

Cameron is a shipyard project manager with specialized experience across the tug and barge industry, having worked at both startup and established shipyards in new construction and repair sectors.

Quentin Powell

Mechanical Engineer

Quentin is a South Louisiana native with over 12 years of experience in the marine, energy, and wastewater industries. He earned a bachelor's degree in Communication and developed his engineering skills at Bollinger Shipyards before joining Crucible.

Nathan Pullias

Naval Architect

Nathan brings hands-on experience across shipyards, classification societies, and government vessel programs. He earned a Bachelor of Science in Marine Systems Engineering with a minor in Naval Architecture from Maine Maritime Academy.
