View project sourceWe are extremely pleased with the Brownfields program that we are working with [Credere] on, not only for their extensive knowledge of the various EPA Brownfields Programs and technical abilities, but also their economic development ideas, ability to leverage future funding, and the ability to interface and educate other municipalities, property owners and the public.
Credere went right to work in the region, and in just three months completed a regional Brownfields inventory, assisted RPC and Advisory Committee with developing site selection criteria, and met with municipalities, property owners, and other stakeholders to explain the program.
The Eastern Fine Paper site is currently being redeveloped into a modular fabrication facility by Cianbro Constructors. This project will generate 500 jobs and leverage $50 million in private investment. Credere's ability to explain the Brownfields process and program to developers as well as present an effective remediation strategy for the site was instrumental to the project moving forward.
The work of Credere has helped us to make our vision of a modular fabrications facility on the former Eastern Fine paper site a reality. We have been impressed with the work of Credere, not only for their technical abilities for environmental and redevelopment work, but at listening to and being sensitive to our specific needs.
