Since 2020, Chastain & Associates LLC has assisted the Village of Oak Park in coordinating, reviewing, and processing permits involving right-of-way impacts. This work includes new projects for replacing existing lead water services, abandoning existing sewer and water services, right-of-way obstructions, and private utility permits.

Chastain did an excellent job at coordinating efforts to keep our project on time with effective communication and timely paperwork processing. Maintaining our project schedules and procedures is very important to us, and you did a great job!
Compared to the other HSIP grant projects the City has implemented recently, this project was by far the most successful at staying close to the 90/10 actual split. Chastain did a great job here controlling the costs of this project.

...developed proactive solutions to problems. One example of the effectiveness of this approach led to significant cost savings on this project by the reduction in volume of undercut and backfill for unsuitable soil removal.
In our final evaluation from the county they rated us Excellent in 7 categories out of 9, and Above Average and N/A in the other 2 remaining categories. They stated, the resident engineer was very knowledgeable and managed the project very well.
