Renovation of existing multi-story hangars, storage, security, and administrative buildings at Edwards Air Force Base to support the B-21 Raider development program. The 274,800 SF CTF Compound included aircraft paving replacement, ASCE 41-13 hangar assessment and retrofit, SCIF room installation, HVAC updates, and associated utility and site work. The project complied with DoD antiterrorism and force protection requirements.

Consolidation of a K-8 campus and a magnet middle school into a unified TK-12 campus for the San Diego Unified School District. New construction included administration, multi-purpose, classroom, gymnasium, and science buildings across both sites. BWE provided civil engineering and land surveying, including public improvement plans, half-width street improvements, signing, striping, and traffic control along the project frontage.

Design-build replacement of an existing fire station for the City of Carlsbad. BWE provided civil engineering and land surveying for a 3,688 SF temporary facility and an 11,000 SF permanent two-story station. Scope included topographic survey, precise grading, site utility plans, a Water Pollution Control Plan, public improvement plans, and water district agency processing. Recognized with a 2023 Honor Award from APWA.

Phased modernization of the historic County Administration Center for the County of San Diego. BWE provided structural design including an ASCE 41 seismic evaluation and retrofit, civil design for temporary swing space, and 3D laser scanning to capture existing conditions before and after demolition. The project is phased to maintain normal building operations throughout construction.
