Brad Banfield

Corporate President, Shareholder

Brad joined Buesing & Associates in 2006 and became a shareholder in 2013. Named president in 2020, he is responsible for medium and long-range business planning, oversight of company philosophy and goals, and client experience. He specializes in WisDOT project management and oversees the Wisconsin growth initiative. Brad is a licensed Professional Engineer in Wisconsin and holds a B.S. in Civil Engineering from the University of Wisconsin-Platteville. He holds WisDOT HTCP certifications in TMS, MCT-D, and PCCTEC-I.

John Gantenbein

WisDOT Senior Project Manager, Corporate Vice President

John has been with Buesing & Associates since 1996 and served as shareholder and president from 2005 to 2019. He specializes in WisDOT project engineering, property and design surveys, and construction staking. He holds a B.S. in Civil Engineering with Transportation and Construction emphasis from the University of Wisconsin-Platteville and holds WisDOT HTCP certifications in TMS and PCCTEC-I.

Terry Koelker

Corporate Secretary, Treasurer

PLS

Terry has been with Buesing & Associates since 1989 and served as shareholder from 2005 to 2019. He manages the Dubuque office and oversees day-to-day operations, job cost estimating, and bid preparation. His technical experience covers subdivision design, land surveying, and site design. He is a Professional Land Surveyor in Iowa and holds an associate degree in Mechanical Technology from Northeast Iowa Community College.

Patrick J. Norton

Senior Project Manager, Civil Engineering, Shareholder

PE, LEED AP

Pat joined Buesing & Associates in 2012, bringing 20-plus years of civil engineering experience. He specializes in land development design and full-cycle project management from rezoning and conceptual layout through final design and construction. He is a licensed Professional Engineer in Illinois, Iowa, Missouri, and Wisconsin; a LEED Accredited Professional; and an ASCE member. He earned a B.S. in Civil Engineering from Iowa State University.

Kenneth L. Buesing

Senior Project Manager, Founder

PE, PLS

Ken founded Buesing & Associates in 1985 after more than 17 years of industry experience. He holds licenses as a Professional Engineer in Wisconsin, Iowa, Illinois, Minnesota, and Michigan and as a Professional Land Surveyor in Wisconsin, Iowa, and Illinois. He earned a B.S. in Civil Engineering from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln and has expertise across all aspects of civil engineering and land surveying.
