Overview

Throughout its seven decades of professional practice, Brandow & Johnston has engineered many of the structures in Southern California and beyond. Founded in Los Angeles in 1945, it engineered the first height-limited buildings constructed post-WWII. Since then, the practice has completed over 35,000 projects, including the first over-height building allowed by ordinance, the first all-welded structural steel office building, and the City's first next-generation high-rise: The Wilshire Grand Center.
