For 47 years, BenchMark Engineers, P.C. (BME) has provided professional civil engineering, surveying, and planning for local, state, and federal agencies; commercial and residential developers; and numerous other clients throughout the region. BME brings together engineers, designers, and surveyors with more than 130 years of combined professional experience. Licensed to practice in Wyoming, Colorado, and Nebraska, BME consistently delivers quality plans that are easily understood by owners, reviewing agencies, and contractors.
Services
Civil Engineering
Site design and infrastructure engineering for public agencies, commercial developers, and residential builders across Wyoming and Colorado. Deliverables typically include site plans, grading, stormwater detention and drainage, water and sanitary sewer systems, parking layouts, erosion control, ADA accessibility, and roadway improvements, coordinated across architectural, structural, geotechnical, and landscape disciplines.
Hydrologic Engineering
Analysis and modeling of surface water systems for urban and rural settings. In urban drainage, BME delineates local sub-basins, evaluates surface street flows, models storm sewer inlet and pipe capacity, and sizes detention facilities. In rural locations, work addresses floodplain delineation and flood-risk assessment for new and existing infrastructure.
Surveying
Topographic and utility surveys, control surveys calibrated to existing control pins, construction staking with specified offsets and elevations, and as-built surveys verifying contractor work on construction sites.
Planning and Feasibility
Scoping and feasibility assessment carrying projects from initial concept through agency review. BME evaluates infrastructure requirements, establishes project scope, and coordinates early design decisions - work that is especially critical for smaller communities and public-sector clients where planning clarity drives project delivery.
Construction Administration
Construction engineering and administration services throughout project construction. BME operates under municipal direction, confers with officials on engineering matters, and coordinates directly with general contractors and subcontractors to maintain design intent and construction quality.
