He is a licensed Professional Engineer in Missouri and Illinois with approximately 20 years of engineering and management experience. He worked at the Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District for about 8 years, designing sanitary sewer and stormwater conveyance projects and reviewing wastewater treatment plant modifications. He has also worked with consulting firms including Woodward-Clyde (now part of URS Corporation), Woolpert LLP, and Professional Service Industries in their environmental, geotechnical, and material testing divisions.
