Rebecca B. Sutton

Founder and Chief Executive Officer

Founding BecTech has been a significant milestone. Seeing employees excel each day in what they do for customers and the Navy has been central to her career. Her journey in the defense industry started at Advanced Technology, Inc. (ADTECH) in 1978. She joined ManTech, Inc. in 1981 as a Systems Analyst assigned to support Combat Systems projects at Johns Hopkins University, Applied Physics Laboratory (JHU/APL). The Combat Systems programs she has supported include TERRIER/TARTAR New Threat Upgrade, AEGIS, STANDARD Missile, JMSDF AEGIS, and RAN FFG Upgrade. As her Combat Systems expertise grew, she became a Test and Evaluation expert, supporting APL and the U.S. Navy in testing shipboard Combat Systems. She served as Senior Vice President of ManTech prior to founding BecTech in September of 1997, and has guided the practice as Chief Executive Officer since.
