In 1986, three engineers founded Applied Technologies, Inc. (ATI) with a focus on water and waste management, renewable energy, and structural engineering. Based in Brookfield, Wisconsin, ATI has grown to approximately 40 staff across two offices, including more than 20 licensed engineers and architects. Facilities planning, design, and construction administration for the eleventh addition to the Nine Springs Wastewater Treatment Plant. The project incorporated an Ostara phosphorus recovery process and was completed $7 million under budget.
