Overview

Alpha Land Surveying & Mapping (ALSM) was founded in January 1996 by Fred M. Franklin, PLS, in Oakland, Nebraska, and has grown into a regional land surveying practice serving Nebraska and Florida. ALSM provides boundary, ALTA/ACSM, topographic, elevation certificate, and FEMA/LOMA/GIS surveys, along with construction staking and aerial drone services. A technology-forward practice, ALSM offers aerial drone photogrammetry and LiDAR scanning for power-line corridors, railway corridors, cell towers, and general corridor mapping, producing 3D point clouds, 2D and 3D orthomosaic maps, and BIM-ready spatial data. He formerly held appointments as Cuming County Surveyor, Thurston County Surveyor, Dakota County Surveyor, and Dixon County Surveyor.
