AEC served as the engineering consultant for the renovation and construction of the new Columbus Division of Police Crime Laboratory. AEC personnel were actively involved in both the design and construction of the laboratory facility. In my experience, all AEC personnel have been knowledgeable and professional. They continue to work co-operatively with other contractors to ensure that the new laboratory facility will provide a safe and trouble-free environment in which the crime laboratory can grow and operate in an efficient manner.
AEC has continuously through the many years and various projects provided us with outstanding services regardless of the complexities and challenges, not to mention our unique work environment. Your knowledge, experience, meticulous attention to detail, and coordination efforts, coupled with dedication, sincerity, and professionalism have repeatedly yielded successful and projects performed on time and within budget. Our office has utmost regard for your talents, quality solutions, innovation, reliability, creativity, and professionalism.
AEC has been great to work with. They worked closely with CMR, Lodge and DNR staff to determine the best design approach which would provide ease of maintenance and standardize the equipment with current availability. While requiring some expansion of the wall openings this design approach saved the project a substantial amount of money bringing the GMP well below budget.
AEC provided a complete and comprehensive design of a complex FAS. Custom MNS messages as well as additional features such as closing solenoid valves, shutting off pumps from the fuel farm, and integrating LEL gas detection systems were part of the design. Schedule was tight and met easily. AEC was good to work with and handled conflicts between Users and Base personnel well.
