Overview
Achievement Engineering Corporation (Achieveng) is a Bay Area and Central Valley California engineering practice founded in 2010 in San Jose. Growing from that single office, it now operates four locations serving clients across the greater Bay Area and Central Valley. Achieveng delivers materials testing laboratory services, special inspection and construction observation, geotechnical engineering, geological services, environmental consulting, and quality assurance/quality control for projects ranging from large transportation infrastructure to commercial buildings and residential construction.

Services
Materials Testing Laboratory
Laboratory and field testing of construction materials including soils, aggregates, concrete, reinforcing steel, structural steel, asphalt, and masonry. Tests evaluate mechanical properties through tensile and compression testing, with field testing and non-destructive testing also available.
Special Inspection and Construction Observation
Certified inspectors monitor construction activities to CBC, DSA, Caltrans, and AASHTO standards, covering soils, aggregates, asphalt, reinforcing steel, structural steel, concrete, masonry, CalGreen, and fireproofing. Includes oversight of drilled pier installation, site excavations, structural and architectural components, and building life safety elements.
Quality Assurance / Quality Control
QA/QC observation, monitoring, and testing conducted in accordance with CBC, DSA, Caltrans, and AASHTO standards. Achieveng oversees contractor quality control programs and verifies that construction materials meet required quality benchmarks.
Geotechnical Engineering
Full-phase geotechnical support from preliminary investigation through construction completion. Provides soils recommendations, structural and economic feasibility assessments based on site conditions, seismic hazard evaluations, and site class seismic design parameters.
Geological Services
Geology-informed geotechnical support for site characterization, project decisions, and natural-hazard-aware design.
Environmental Consulting
Phase I, II, and III environmental site assessments, remediation design and implementation for contaminated sites, environmental risk evaluation, and leach field assessment and design for projects requiring septic systems.
