Daya Bettadapura
President and Principal Engineer

With more than 35 years of civil, geotechnical, and environmental engineering experience, Daya Bettadapura is the founding owner and president of ABI Engineering Consultants, Inc. He is a licensed civil engineer in California and several western states, with academic preparation spanning civil, structural, and geotechnical engineering. His technical specialization covers geosynthetic applications - including MSE wall design, pavement design, slope stabilization, and geosynthetic liner and cover systems - as well as solid waste facility permitting and the geotechnical aspects of soil remediation. He has managed project reviews, approvals, and permitting with local, state, and federal agencies and oversees technical quality across all ABI projects.
Jimmy Wang
Senior Engineer and Project Manager

Jimmy Wang holds a bachelor's degree in civil engineering from the University of California, Irvine, and has delivered civil, environmental, and geotechnical engineering services since 2000. He is a licensed civil engineer in California. Wang manages ABI's soil testing laboratory and leads construction testing and observation programs across Southern California. His design experience includes civil site improvements and earth retaining structures, including MSE walls.
