James Maestas is a Professional Mechanical Engineer with more than 25 years of diverse experience, specializing in electro-mechanical equipment design across oilfield, defense, nuclear facility, and material-handling sectors. He has served as a Project Engineer for various equipment design tasks for the Department of Energy Complex. His previous roles include Project Manager and Design Engineer for equipment designs at Los Alamos National Laboratory, Idaho National Engineering and Environmental Laboratory, and the Rocky Flats Environmental Technology Site. He is accomplished in developing comprehensive design documentation, conceptual design reports, engineering calculations, and test reports. He holds a Master of Engineering in Engineering Management from the University of Colorado Boulder and a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the University of New Mexico.
